Mixing Process

In the lecture of mixing we have gone through the basic effects of the mixing like EQ compressors and reverb and delay. Mixing process：finish the volume and delay/reverb in the composition process and go through the sounds that I am not that satisfied through EQ and to find out the questions or places that I am not satisfied.

In the original piece I think the guitar part is way too obvious and not that dynamic. And the second part of pad is like a string and pad thing and I want to make that string more obvious. Lastly is the reverb and delay, most of the instrument is way too dry and I need to give them some reverb.

This is the final outcome with mixing

It sounds more dynamic and clean than the original one.

This is my first attempt to paint. So Shark has help me with the painting materials and some of the basic techniques. So in this painting process I don’t have much to think about but just using my hands and my mind to roar and to freely express. And afterwards I find that I have painted a body

I think the painting process is inspiring because in the painting process I am doing completely new things and it is similar to the feelings of think like a child and paint like a child. I think in my experience and workflows of making sound pieces I am way too focused on

making a piece that sounds nice and cheerful.
