Final Outcome reflections

Looking at the final outcome, there are many aspects that I consider highly successful. First, as a collaborative endeavor, it achieved great synergy. My collaborator, Shark, and I frequently engaged in deep discussions and consultations. Watching our project evolve from abstract concepts into a fully realized, tangible outcome gave me a profound sense of accomplishment and proved to be a highly positive developmental model. Second, I am incredibly pleased with the final result. I shared the track with some friends, and they gave me wonderful feedback, recognizing my continuous efforts to push my boundaries and explore sound art. Although I do not come from a formal musical background, my passion for music and sound art is immense. This project made me realize that I have not yet reached my limits, and I am eager to keep exploring. I view this piece as both a meaningful summary and a fruitful milestone of my recent practice, and I am deeply satisfied with it.

However, there are still areas for improvement. First, I feel the outcome slightly drifted from my initial collaborative intention; my original goal was for the two mediums to have an equal weight, but in the final execution, the sound art element still felt somewhat dominant. Second, I haven’t fully pushed myself to the absolute edge. In my initial plan, I wanted to physically construct the actual “Healing Box,” but due to various unforeseen delays, I couldn’t realize it, which remains a lingering regret.
