This is my first time that I have been in studying coding and doing or producing music, like generative music pieces. My motivation for using coding to make music can be related to my personal experience and ideas about nature and humans. The coding and synthesizers for the acoustic instruments are similar when it comes to urbanization to nature. Although they are quite different and distant, they still share a similar situation. Cities impose entropy reduction, order, and mechanization upon nature, while the earliest synthesizers and electronic music introduced repetitive and atmospheric musical experiments to traditional acoustic music. I am inspired by this dynamic balance between technology and nature.

In the process of this class, I set an aim to demonstrate or simulate the presence of nature through technological and artificial means. While this may sound superfluous, it actually serves as a valuable approach to understanding the balance between humanity and nature.
