Strengths:
I consider this a significant challenge for myself, and I believe I performed quite well. I abandoned my previous visual way and instead experimented with a more stream-of-consciousness approach to express everything. In terms of the soundtrack, I think the composition and arrangement were more complete and mature, with well-executed emotional progression and section planning. The transitions between sections were not abrupt or disjointed but maintained a steady emotional flow. The instrumentation was relatively simple and clean, using traditional tools. Additionally, I tried many new techniques in this project, such as fully recording my own Foley and using different objects to create similar or analogous auditory experiences.
Weaknesses:
I feel the variety of Foley sounds was somewhat insufficient, and the loudness and structuring of the audio could have been clearer and more organized. Mixing was a relatively weak point in terms of completion. I didn’t spend much time on mixing or stereo imaging, likely due to time constraints. Also, I think the narrative aspect of the visuals could have been tighter and more cohesive.
