I am really impressed by Claudia’s music installation called Five Defense Towers. It is a really multi-media work that interwines words, simple melody, switching of the position, and the requirement for asking people to look up.
This artist used the variation of perspectives and views in an attempt to ask people to look at her work with an upward gaze. The artist’s almost distorted but touching movements are beautiful and moving, with a simple but bleak background guitar. There are many scene changes, either near or far. It better reflects the artist’s attitude towards the expression of viewpoints.
Regarding the other photographs on display, I found them very boring and ordinary.
As for the second installation, called THE ECHO OF PROTEST IS DISTANT TO THE PROTEST from Nazanin Noori, it is a more sensual installation focused on your ears instead of the former installation, which used eyes from Claudia. Discomfort and alarm-like red zone make the installation more nerve and intense. This installation is simple but attractive enough. It is not concentrated on forms and content. It is more about sensual immersion. But it is too repetitive, which makes the audience easily to feel boring.
